High level simulation training is a necessity to prepare officers for real world situations they face. High level simulation training is the final building
block in the Seven Levels of Simulation Training. In this article, Larry Nadeau explores four distinct types of high level simulations that
should be included in all training programs. Nadeau expands upon the concepts that were set forth in 1995 by law enforcement training icon,
Gary T. Klugiewicz, and Richard Rosenkrantz, RedMan’s former Special Projects Manager.

This course is designed to give the instructor the knowledge and skill to train first responding officers to an Active Shooter incident. Active Shooter
incidents are becoming more prevalent in law enforcement and the need to train officers in how to respond has become a vital part of law enforcement training.
Instructor development issues will also be discussed as students will be "hands-on" teaching practical skills throughout this course. These practical skills
will be taught with its focus on tactics. Firearms drills will be taught using Simunitions, however, these same drills can later be applied to "live-fire"
range drills or high level scenario based training.
RedMan Training Gear, in collaboration with training partner Team One Network, recently held an open house welcoming law enforcement officers from Central
Florida to experience a new 20,000 square-foot training complex located in Sebastian, FL. A full day of demonstrations and familiarization on the cutting-edge
equipment and training capabilities at the facility introduced law enforcement personnel to the wide range of training possibilities the center provides.
